Royal Automobile Club (RAC) Full Member's Car Badge — c.1920s

An early example of the RAC's ornate Full Member's badge, a design introduced in 1907 and produced in this same pattern through the 1920s and 30s. Cast in nickel/chrome-plated metal, it takes the form of a wreathed, spoked wheel beneath a King's crown, upheld by a winged Mercury figure — the Club's traditional emblem of speed and travel.

The obverse carries the profile of King George V, encircled by "THE ROYAL AUTOMOBILE CLUB," marking the royal patronage that gave the Club its name. The reverse bears an enamelled Union Jack roundel, traditionally displayed to the front when travelling abroad. Complete with its original fixing bracket for radiator or bar mount.

Genuine period automobilia — a striking piece for a classic car radiator, dashboard, or collector's display.
